Effectively managing the ride start and ride complete thresholds is essential for delivering a seamless and dependable carpool experience. These thresholds mark the critical points when a ride officially begins and concludes, significantly impacting factors such as prompt pickups, accurate journey tracking, and ultimately, customer satisfaction.
Ride Start Threshold
This is the number of hours to enable a carpool user to start a ride before the ride departure time.
If none is specified, users can always start future rides.
Ride Complete Threshold
This is the number of hours to enable a carpool user to complete a ride after the ride arrival time.
If none is specified, users can only complete rides at a maximum default of 24h.
Where Ride Start Threshold is 1 Hour
If you look closely, you would see the current time is at 5:54 pm and the option to start the ride is not yet visible.

Here, we can see it's 5:55pm (exactly 1 hour from ride time), and we can see here that we are able to start the ride.

The current time here is 8:05 pm, as expected, the Complete trip is still not anymore visible.
