If you're lucky enough to belong to an organisation that has set aside a few carpark bays for their members, then most times you create a ride you will automatically be assigned a car park.

Below are steps on how you can check if you are assigned a carpark:

TABLE OF CONTENTS

How to check your carpool allocation:

Upon accepting a ride as a driver, there will be a notification saying that you have been assigned to a parking space.

However if you have missed the notification, you may follow below steps in the app for verifying:

1. Click on the ride that you want to check.

2. However if you miss this, there is an indicated bay number/ID if you have been allocated a carpark. That would automatically mean that your ride has been assigned to a carpark.

Your organization might include an image in the pop out screen for additional visual reference about the car park. For example, it could be the picture of the car park's entrance or the boom gate PIN.
  1. On your carpool app's homepage, select any of your rides.
  2. Look for the trophy. If you see it, congratulations!! - your parking problems are over, at least for one day.
  3. You can just press on the trophy to see more details on where you'll be parking.

Note: Car park location notifications are sent exclusively to drivers for their convenience.

Riders can also view the car park details by selecting the trophy icon within the app.

How to verify the allocation in the portal:

Allocations may also be verified via the portal through the following steps:

Please note that viewing of the Admin portal allocation is only available to Admin users.

1. From the portal, go to Allocations.
2. Select the correct time and carpark to view all the allocations.

In this example, we can see the allocation for the ride example shown above.

How to decline the bay allocation:

Allocations may be declined by following below steps:

Note: Only the driver has the ability to decline an allocation

Automatic allocations made during the nightly job for certain organization can also be declined by users if needed.

1. Open the ride in the app.
2. Click on the trophy icon or the Bay Name on the middle-right part of the screen.
3. From the second screen, click Decline to remove the allocation.
Declining an allocation may also be done using this method:
1. Open the ride in the app.
2. Click on the pin of your designated dropoff location. If you have an allocation, it would be opened.
3. Same as the first, click decline if you want to remove the allocation.

Full disclosure: you might miss out sometimes. If you find yourself without a park, take a look at the main reasons that this can happen, and what you can do to make sure it doesn't happen to you.

The confirmation of getting a successful carpool does not necessarily mean you have managed to get a car park. Follow the instructions above to review the ride in detail to see if you have a trophy and select the trophy to find out which carpark and potentially bay you have been assigned.

There is a feature that can be enabled for including notifications in the app - for more details on all notifications see How will I be notified of my match and parking rewards?

How to manage your vehicles in the carpool app. Whether adding a new vehicle, updating existing information, or removing outdated entries, the steps are outlined here for easy reference.

Your organisation is the best place for the ins and outs of parking, and all the rules that you'll have to follow, so give them a call if you're unsure of what to do.
