Private rides


This feature allows Carpoolers to get a match by letting them choose their desired companion within the same network.

  • PRIVATE RIDE - REQUESTED
    ss

     This status is being applied to the following scenarios:

  • A private ride has been sent but not yet accepted by the desired companion.
  • The desired companion received the invitation but declined the request. In this case, the inviter will receive a notification stating that the invitation has been declined, see example below.
  • The companion accepted the invitation but later canceled the ride. The inviter will receive a notification informing them that the ride has been canceled by their desired companion. (notification shown below).

  • PRIVATE RIDE - ACCEPTED

    The private ride has been accepted.

  • PRIVATE RIDE - EN-ROUTE

    The driver has started the trip.

  • PRIVATE RIDE - COMPLETED

    The trip has been marked as completed - this may have relevance to reward programs.


Public rides


For public rides, carpoolers from the same network are matched if their travel times and locations align.

  • LOOKING FOR MATCH

This status is being applied to the following scenarios:

  • The ride was created but no match found yet.
  • The ride matched but was later canceled by the carpooler. (notification shown below).

  • ACCEPTED 

    The ride was matched with another carpooler.

  • EN-ROUTE

    The driver started the trip.

  • COMPLETED

    The trip has been marked as completed - this may have relevance to reward programs.
