Why am I shown rides that don't match my request?

As a driver, you're given a little more freedom in the rides that you can match with. After all, you are bringing the car!

Some of these rides might be further in the future than you requested. Some may take you further afield. Some rides might even raise an eyebrow or two - "why would the app even bother showing me that?"

We show you these rides in the interests of carpooling itself - to give you the chance to enjoy the benefits of ride sharing.

The choice is always yours, and you will never be shown one of these "alternative" rides before one that is more convenient, as long as one exists. 

Just remember what your own reasons for carpooling are, and use them to make the choice that suits you best.
